Lake Louise Inn and Fire Department Making a Difference

Living in the small mountain town of Lake Louise, there are usually very few events or causes that come through this area that bring people and businesses together.

The Lake Louise Fire Dept. received such a letter from Captain Al Braatz of the London Fire Dept. just last week and immediately went into action to gather support for this great cause.

One of the Officers from the Fire Department is also a manager at the Lake Louise Inn, where he contacted the senior management team to discuss the possible options for support. It started with the donation of a large suite for the Riders and their Support team for their night stay in Lake Louise. It progressed from there to include a special stay package for the Lake Louise Inn. For stays between March 15th, 2008 and May 15th, 2008 rooms have been discounted, and for those guests that choose to book under this special, the Lake Louise Inn will donate $10.00 per night from every Room and $20.00 per night from every Suite to the Typically Canadian Group and the Canadian Cancer Society. There is also a cash drop box at the Front Desk where other guests can make donations.

Currently, after less than three weeks of participation, the Lake Louise Inn and the Lake Louise Fire Department have raised over $3000.00. With the support of the community and guests alike, we hope to make this one of the most successful stops for the Typically Canadian Riders.

The Typically Canadian Group is riding with the Lake Louise Inn, Fire Department and all Lake Louise residents and visitors...
