About TCG

The Typically Canadian Group (TCG) was formed to honour all those who have exemplified the attributes of a Typical Canadian.  TCG's goal is to pay tribute to these Typical Canadians from all walks of life and to rally Canadians to aid in the battle against all cancer.  Today, approximately two in five Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives.  Almost all Canadians will have a loved one who is affected directly.  We have witnessed the courage of those who have died, the resolve of those who have survived and the determination and will power of those who now battle the disease.  And as Typical Canadians we must show support and honour our fellow Canadians.

The 2008 TC Tribute Tour

Presented by Firefighters of Canada

In the summer of 2008, five TCG members are cycling across the country, from Port Renfrew B.C. to St. Johns Newfoundland, paying tribute to the lives of Canadians who have battled or are currently battling cancer. With support from Canadian Fire Departments, Volunteers and Typical Canadians, TCG's goal is to honour the lives of all Canadians before and after cancer.
